Two Injured in Corpus Christi Three-Vehicle Crash at Northwest Boulevard and FM 1889

Corpus Christi, Texas (May 19, 2020) – Two people were injured Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Corpus Christi, according to police.

The crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. May 18, at the intersection of Northwest Boulevard and Farm Market Road 1889.

Police said two pickup trucks were trying to race the yellow light when they collided at the intersection. A silver Mitsubishi, which was also trying to race the yellow light, was involved in the crash.

One of the pickup truck drivers, a 19-year-old, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Mitsubishi driver, a 35-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
