Two Airlifted after Brownwood Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 183/84 and County Road 270

Brownwood, Texas (December 24, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Brownwood, just outside of Early, according to officials.

The crash occurred at about 6:30 pm. December 23, in the area of Highway 183/84 and County Road 270.

Officials said the crash involved an SUV and a pickup truck.

The occupants of the pickup were trapped and had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life.

One person was airlifted to Scott and White Hospital in Temple, while the other was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The victims’ conditions were not disclosed.

The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
