Child Hospitalized after Lubbock Bicycle Crash on 24th Street and West Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (June 26, 2019) – A child was injured when in a traffic accident on Tuesday evening in Lubbock, according to the police

The collision happened at around 7:40 p.m. June 25, on 24th Street and West Loop 289.

Police said a 7-year-old child was riding a bicycle when they were hit by a pickup truck.

The victim was transported to a Lubbock hospital with moderate injuries.

No further details were released.

Police are investigating the incident.
