Jeremiah Osgood, Jose Ramirez, Nathaniel Davidson and Joshua Fitts Injured in Fatal Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1379 and County Road 160

Midland County, Texas (January 20, 2020) – Four people were injured on Thursday in a two-vehicle crash that left a Florida man dead in Midland County, DPS said.

The fatal crash happened on Thursday, January 16, at the intersection of FM 1379 and County Road 160.

According to a preliminary investigation, Joseph A. Davis, 55, of Cutler Bay, Florida, was driving an 18-wheeler westbound on CR 160 while a Dodge Ram 2500 that was towing a trailer was heading southbound on FM 1379.

Davis failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the Ram.

Davis was killed in the crash.

The occupants of the Ram, Jeremiah Osgood, 34, of Christoval, Texas, Jose Ramirez, 47, of Odessa, Nathaniel Davidson, 28, of San Angelo, and Joshua Fitts, 28, of San Angelo, were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
