Enrique Vazquez ID’d as Man Killed in Houston Car Crash on Beverly Hill Street and Fountain View Drive

Houston, Texas (August 18, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle operated by a teenage driver on Thursday afternoon in Houston has been identified as Enrique Vazquez, 47, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at around 4:25 p.m. Thursday, August 15, on Beverly Hill Street and Fountain View Drive.

Police said a girl aged 12 was driving a car that struck Vazquez, who was walking his dog.

Vazquez and the dog died in the crash.

The girl’s father, identified as Thomas Mejia, was charged with criminal negligent homicide due to the incident.
