Two Killed in Cooke County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1630

Cooke County, Texas – Two people were killed on Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Cooke County, according to the state troopers.

The fatal crash happened on February 2, on FM 1630.

Troopers said a Chevy Tahoe was heading eastbound when the driver veered off the road, then overcorrected and drove into oncoming traffic, where the Chevy crashed into a Dodge Ram

The Chevy driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Ram was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ram driver was taken to a Denton Hospital with critical injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
