Vernon Doggett ID’d as Victim Killed in Howard County Crash on State Highway 350

Howard County, Texas (July 4, 2023) – The person who died following a traffic collision on Friday in Howard County has been identified as Vernon Brady Doggett, 22, of Moran, Texas.

The deadly crash took place on State Highway 350 on June 30.

Authorities said a 2006 Freightliner Truck with Trailer was heading northbound on State Highway 350 when, for unknown reasons, the 2006 Freightliner Truck drifted into the opposite lane and collided with a southbound 2019 Ford F-150, driven by Doggett.

Doggett died at the scene of the crash.

The second person was taken to Scenic Mountain Medical Center and is in stable condition.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
