Stacy Skiles Injured in Idalou Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 400 and Highway 62/82

Idalou, Texas (November 5, 2019) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Idalou, according to the DPS.

The crash took place just 8:00 a.m., November 4, at the intersection of FM 400 and Highway 62/82.

DPS said a Ford pickup truck pulling a trailer was heading southbound on FM 400, while a Subaru was heading westbound on Highway 62/82.

The pickup failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and the Subaru collided with the trailer being towed by the pickup.

The Subaru driver, Stacy Skiles, 49 of Lubbock, was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries.

The pickup driver, Marvin Arbeiter, 74 of Amarillo, was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
