One Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Accident near 8th Street and Moody Avenue

Odessa, Texas – One person was killed Wednesday evening in a pedestrian accident in Odessa, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident was reported around 8:30 p.m., January 24, near 8th Street and Moody Avenue.

According to the report, a person was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a car. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of 8th Street just west of Dixie Blvd.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
