1 Killed, 6 Injured in Head-On Crash on Edmund Boulevard in San Angelo

One Killed and Six Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on Edmund Boulevard

San Angelo, Texas (August 4, 2021) – One person was killed, and six others were injured Tuesday night in a head-on collision in San Angelo, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:00 p.m., August 3, in the 1400 block of Edmund Boulevard in front of Kirby Park.

Police said a Chevrolet pickup truck occupied by three adults was traveling westbound while a Chevrolet Tahoe occupied by two children and two adults was traveling eastbound.

For unknown reasons, the Tahoe crossed over the yellow stripes into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the pickup truck.

All seven people involved in the crash were taken to Shannon Medical Center for treatment. One of the adults in the Tahoe was later pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
