Woman Struck, Killed by SUV on Tomball Parkway in Northwest Harris County

Woman Killed in Northwest Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Tomball Parkway

Harris County, Texas (May 21, 2020) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night in northwest Harris County, according to deputies.

The deadly accident occurred 9:00 p.m. May 20, in the 12900 block of the Tomball Parkway.

Deputies said the woman was lying in the middle of the roadway when she was hit by an SUV. The driver said he couldn’t avoid hitting the woman.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released. A grocery bag of beer was found near the woman.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
