One Injured in San Angelo Van Crash at Abe Street and Harris Avenue

San Angelo, Texas (September 27, 2019) – One person was injured in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon at a San Angelo intersection, according to a local news source.

The collision happened on Thursday, September 26, at the intersection of Abe Street and Harris Avenue near the main Post Office.

Police said a Chrysler minivan was heading southbound on Abe Street when it ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a Chevrolet Astrovan which was eastbound on Harris Avenue.

The Astrovan driver was checked out at the scene by paramedics.

The Chrysler driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The crash remains under investigation.
