Yeah-Sook Kim Killed in Abilene Pedestrian Accident on Ambler Avenue near Westmoreland Street

Abilene, Texas (September 24, 2021) – The woman who was injured Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident in north Abilene has died, according to the police.

Yeah-Sook Kim, 75, of Abilene, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, September 22.

The accident happened just after 8:00 p.m., September 21, on Ambler Avenue near Westmoreland Street.

Police said Kim was crossing Ambler Avenue on an unmarked crosswalk when she was struck by a white Chevrolet pickup. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead Wednesday evening.

No other details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
