Yu Luo Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident at North Dallas Mall near Nordstrom
Dallas, Texas (March 13, 2019) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday night in a NorthPark Center parking garage has been identified as Yu Luo, 42, according to police.
The fatal crash happened at around 10:00 p.m. Monday, March 11 at the North Dallas mall near Nordstrom.
Police said Christopher Shaw, 28, struck the two pedestrians. Shaw then slammed into a wall.
Luo was declared dead on the second floor of the parking garage while Shisuo Wang, 41, was taken to a hospital with multiple injuries.
Shaw was also taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities suspect Shaw was driving fast at the time of the accident. He was expected to face a charge of manslaughter.
The crash remains under investigation.
