Valerie Helena Graves Killed in Harrison County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 80

Harrison County, Texas (December 21, 2020) – A woman was killed in a wrong-way crash early Friday morning in Harrison County, west of Hallsville, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just after 1:00 a.m., December 18, on Highway 80.

According to a preliminary investigation, 20-year-old Valerie Helena Graves, of Bossier City, LA, was driving a 2003 Dodge Neon eastbound on the wrong side of the road when she crashed into a westbound 2018 GMC Sierra.

Graves was pronounced at the scene.

The Sierra driver was taken to a Longview hospital in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
