Zebulon Beer Killed in North Austin Pedestrian Accident on Burnet Road 

Austin, Texas (November 19, 2020) – The man who was killed last month in a hit-and-run crash in North Austin has been identified as Zebulon Beer,42, according to police.

The deadly accident happened just after 7:30 p.m., October 31, on Burnet Road near Research Boulevard.

According to police, witnesses said Beer was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by several vehicles.

The first car that hit Beer fled the scene after the accident. The other drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Beer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Vehicular Homicide Unit at (512) 974-4278.
