Steven Little Killed in Wheeler County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 40

Wheeler County, Texas (September 6, 2022) – A man was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Wheeler County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:45 a.m., September 4, on Interstate 40.

DPS said a semi-truck failed to travel in a single lane, traveled across the center median, and hit an eastbound pickup truck towing a box trailer.

The pickup truck driver, 60-year-old Steven Little from Clovis, California, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the semi were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
