One Critically Injured in East Austin Pedestrian Crash at Oak Springs Drive and Airport Boulevard

Austin, Texas (December 12, 2021) – One person was critically injured Saturday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in east Austin, according to officials.

The accident happened just before 3:30 p.m., December 11, at the intersection of Oak Springs Drive and Airport Boulevard.

Officials said a man was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, at the intersection.

The victim was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
