One Killed and Two Injured in El Paso Car Crash on Doniphan Drive at Sunland Park Drive
El Paso, Texas (March 21, 2019) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash Wednesday afternoon in West El Paso, according to a local news release.
The fatal crash was reported at about 1:00 p.m. March 20, on Doniphan Drive at the intersection with Sunland Park Drive, southwest of I-10 and just north of Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino.
Police said a white car and a large truck collided head-on for unknown reasons at the intersection.
One person was killed in the crash. Two other people were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The crash closed Doniphan Drive for several hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
