Sulphur Springs Man Sustains Minor Injuries in Cooper Car Accident on Highway 19/24
Cooper, Texas (February 19, 2019) – One person was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a traffic accident on a highway in Cooper, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at an unspecified time Monday, February 15 on Highway 19/24.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Dodge Ram 1500 crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on the south lane of Highway 19/24.
The DPS said the front end of the Ram then came to a stop on the rear of the unloaded trailer.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and took the driver of the pickup, a Sulphur Springs man, to Paris Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The operator of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the crash.
No additional information was immediately available.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
