1 Injured in Car Crash at South Chadbourne Street and East Washington Drive in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at South Chadbourne Street and East Washington Drive

San Angelo, Texas (March 4, 2022) – One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just after 12:00 p.m., March 3, at the intersection of South Chadbourne Street and East Washington Drive.

Authorities said a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling westbound on Washington Street when it failed to yield the right of way after stopping at the stop sign at the intersection. It was then hit by an oncoming Toyota passenger that was traveling southbound on Chadbourne Street.

The Toyota driver was taken to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries.

The Jeep driver was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.

The crash remains under investigation.
