1 Injured in Hit-and-Run on US 190 at FM 116 in Copperas Cove

One Injured in Copperas Cove Two-Vehicle Crash at US 190 and FM 116  

Copperas Cove, Texas (October 19, 2021) – One person was injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in Copperas Cove, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m., October 16, at the intersection of South Farm-to-Market Road 116 and US Highway 190.

Police said a Ford Econoline van turned into the path of a Honda at the intersection, resulting in a collision.

The Honda driver was airlifted to the hospital in unknown condition.

The van driver fled the scene, and the authorities are looking for them. Officers said the suspect didn’t own the van and didn’t have permission to drive it.
