One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at West Avenue J and South Johnson Street

San Angelo, Texas (December 7, 2023) – One person was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened on December 6, at the intersection of West Avenue J and South Johnson Street.

Police said a white SUV was traveling eastbound on West Avenue J while a gray Cadillac was heading southbound on Johnson Street. The white SUV failed to yield the right of way from the stop sign, entered traffic, and was struck by the gray Cadillac.

The white SUV then veered off and hit a house while the gray Cadillac turned around and hit the stop sign.

The driver of the gray Cadillac, a woman, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the white Cadillac was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way at the stop sign and no driver’s license.

Both SUVs were towed from the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
