Firefighter Shonna Moorman Injured in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Highway 114 near FM 156

Fort Worth, Texas (January 1, 2020) – A firefighter was struck by a vehicle at a Fort Worth crash scene early Tuesday morning, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred just before 5:54 a.m. December 31, on Highway 114 near FM 156.

As per the report, crews were responding to a rollover on the highway.

Firefighter Shonna Moorman was exiting the fire engine when she was hit by another vehicle. She was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine with non-life- threatening injuries.

The driver stopped and cooperated with police.

An investigation is underway.
