Eduardo Lozoya Killed in 18-Wheeler Crash on State Highway 302 in Winkler County

Winkler County, Texas (August 1, 2022) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the man who died following a traffic crash Sunday morning in Winkler County as Eduardo Lozoya, 28.

The deadly crash occurred on State Highway 302 near State Highway 302 on Sunday, July 31.

DPS said Lozoya, a resident of Odessa, was driving eastbound on State Highway 302 when, for an unknown reason, his vehicle crossed over the yellow line into the westbound lane, where it collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.

Lozoya was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
