One Injured in North Austin Train Crash on Parmer Lane

Austin, Texas (March 17, 2021) – One person was injured Tuesday morning in a train crash in north Austin, according to officials.

The crash happened around 11:00 a.m., March 16, in the 3100 block of Parmer Lane.

Officials said a vehicle and a CapMetro train collided at a crossing.

One person was taken to the hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
