One Injured in East San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Cecil and Preusser

San Angelo, Texas (February 20, 2023) – One person was injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in east San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened on February 19, at the intersection of Cecil and Preusser.

Police said a Lexus SUV was traveling northbound on Cecil, approaching the yield sign, while a Nissan passenger car was at the intersection heading eastbound on Preusser.

The Lexus failed to yield and crashed into the Nissan. The impact sent the Nissan into a yard and through a fence.

The Nissan driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Lexus driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The police are investigating the crash.
