1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on I-10 in San Antonio

One Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

San Antonio, Texas (October 7, 2022) – One person was injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 5:00 a.m., October 6, on Interstate 10 near the Houston Street Bridge.

Police said two vehicles were traveling eastbound on the interstate when they collided, causing one of the vehicles to crash through the guardrail and catch fire under the overpass.

The driver was able to exit the vehicle before it caught fire and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The other driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed both directions of the interstate for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
