75-Year-Old Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Pecan Valley Drive and Goliad Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 6, 2020) – A 75-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in San Antonio’s Southeast Side, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m., November 5, in the area of Pecan Valley Drive and Goliad Road.

According to police, witnesses said the man had just left a convenience store in the area and was walking across the street in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a dark-colored pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup pulled into the parking lot of a Speedy Cash, assessed the damage to the vehicle, and then fled. The vehicle was last seen heading northbound on Goliad Road.

The victim was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

Police said if found, the driver will face a charge of failing to stop and render aid.

The police are investigating the crash.
