1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US 62/82 in Lubbock County

One Injured in Lubbock County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 62/82 near CR 6300

Lubbock County, Texas (April 10, 2022) – One person was injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash between Lubbock and Idalou, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported around noon on US Highways 62/82 near County Road 6300.

DPS said a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle were traveling eastbound on the highway when the passenger vehicle failed to control its speed and rear-ended the semi-truck.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock with possible minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
