1 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Sam Houston Tollway in NW Houston

One Injured in NW Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Sam Houston Tollway

Houston, Texas (March 21, 2022) – One person was injured Sunday night in a wrong-way crash in northwest Houston, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just after 8:00 p.m., March 20, on the Sam Houston Tollway at Little York, near the entry to U.S. 290.

Authorities said a white SUV was traveling the wrong way on the toll road when it crashed head-on into a Ford pick-up truck.

One person had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

A Constable Precinct 5 vehicle was towed away from the scene. It is unclear if it was involved in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
