One Hospitalized after San Angelo Three-Vehicle Crash at Melrose Avenue and Houston Harte Expressway

San Angelo, Texas (September 13, 2019) – A person was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday at a San Angelo intersection, according to a local news release.

The crash happened at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and the Houston Harte Expressway frontage road, near the TLCA High School campus.

Witnesses said the driver of a sedan lost control, crossed over into the median, over-corrected, came across and it a culvert.

An SUV and another sedan were waiting in line to the Houston Harte access road from TLCA when they were hit by the sedan.

The driver of the first sedan was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
