Isaac Barrera Killed in Navasota Motorcycle Crash at FM 379 and West Grace Street

Navasota, Texas (August 10, 2022) – One person was killed on Saturday in a motorcycle crash in Navasota, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened on August 6, at the intersection of FM 379 and West Grace Street.

Police said a motorcycle was traveling northbound on FM 379 when it struck the rear of a stationary 18-wheeler that was waiting to turn onto Grace Street.

The crash caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway.

The motorcyclist, Isaac Barrera, 31, from Navasota, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 18-wheeler driver and passenger were uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed FM 379 for several hours.

 No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
