One Killed, One Injured in Jonestown Motorcycle Accident on FM 1431

Jonestown, Texas (July 24, 2023) – One person was killed and another was injured in a crash involving two motorcycles on Sunday morning in Jonestown, according to authorities.

The fatal two-motorcycle accident was reported shortly before 9:00 a.m. Sunday, July 23 in the 19400 block of FM 1431.

Details on what led up to the crash at this time are unknown.

Authorities said one person was declared dead at the scene while another person was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with serious, not life-threatening injuries.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed during the investigation.

No further details about the crash were immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation.
