1 Killed, 1 Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 326 in Hardin County

One Killed, One Injured in Hardin County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 326 near FM 421

Hardin County, Texas (October 19, 2022) – One person was killed, and another was injured Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision in Hardin County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 3:00 p.m., October 18, on FM 326 near FM 421.

DPS said a Ram pickup was traveling northbound on the highway while a 2015 Buick SUV was traveling southbound.

The Ram crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the Buick.

The Buick driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The Ram driver was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital for treatment.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
