Ike Anders Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash at Cloverdale and Lamesa

Midland, Texas (October 3, 2019) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening at a Midland intersection, according to a local news release.

The crash happened around 5:35 p.m. on October 2, in the area of 700 S. Lamesa and Cloverdale.

As per the release, a four-door blue car which had been stopped at the stop sign westbound on Cloverdale attempted to turn left southbound on Lamesa. As the blue car turned, it was hit by a four-door pick up that was heading northbound in the inside lane on Lamesa.

The driver of the blue car, Ike Anders, from Midland, was pronounced at the scene.

A passenger in the blue car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
