One Killed, One Seriously Injured in Jackson County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 35

Jackson County, Texas (January 15, 2023) – One person was killed, and another was injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 12:30 p.m., January 14, on Highway 35 and FM 1862 and CR 470 near Carancahua Community.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
