Pedestrian Struck, Injured by Vehicle at Wellborn Road and George Bush Drive in College Station

Man Hospitalized after College Station Pedestrian Accident at Wellborn Road and George Bush Drive
College Station, Texas (January 19, 2019) – A male pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle early Friday morning in College Station, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at the intersection of Wellborn Road and George Bush Drive Friday, January 18.
Police said the man was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Wellborn Road, which had the green light to proceed through the intersection.
The pedestrian sustained incapacitating injuries and was transported to a hospital. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Authorities blocked the intersection of George Bush Drive and Wellborn Road for three hours during the investigation. The road was later reopened.
