Joleen Steffes Rohe Killed in Terrell Pedestrian Accident on Town North Drive

Terrell, Texas (January 16, 2021) – According to police, one person was killed Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in Terrell.

The deadly accident happened around 8:30 a.m., January 15, in the 300 block of Town North Drive.

Police said Joleen Steffes Rohe, 69, was walking southeast across the street when she was struck by an eastbound 2003 Mercedes passenger vehicle.

Rohe was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mercedes driver, a Terrell resident, stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
