Christena Monroe Killed in Waco Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Waco, Texas (November 6, 2023) – A woman was killed early Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Waco, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 12:00 a.m., November 5, on I-35 northbound near mile marker 345.

DPS said a semi-truck changed lanes and crashed into another vehicle, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash into another semi-truck.

The driver of the vehicle, 46-year-old Christena Monroe, of Arlington, was taken to taken to Baylor Scott and White in Waco, where she later died.

No other information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
