Shannon Deville Killed and April Ward Injured in NW Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Hempstead Road

Houston, Texas (September 13, 2021) – According to the deputies, one person was killed, and another was injured Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in NW Houston.

The fatal crash happened around 2:20 a.m., August 12, on Hempstead Road near West 43rd Street.

Deputies said a red Ford pickup truck was disabled on the roadway when it was struck by a Chrysler sedan.

The Chrysler was then rear-ended by a maroon Dodge pickup.

The backseat passenger of the Chrysler, Shannon Deville, was killed in the crash. The front seat passenger, April Ward, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Chrysler driver had left the scene before the second crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
