1 Killed, 1 Injured in Head-On Crash on North Central Freeway in Wichita Falls

One Killed and One Injured in Wichita Falls Two-Vehicle Crash at Bacon Switch Road and North Central Freeway

Wichita Falls, Texas (October 2, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a head-on collision Thursday morning in Wichita Falls, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred around 10:20 a.m., October 1, in the area of Bacon Switch Road and North Central Freeway.

Police said a one-ton pick-up truck was traveling southbound in a northbound lane when it crashed head-on into a smaller pick-up truck.

The driver of the smaller pick-up was killed in the crash.

The driver of the larger pick-up was taken to United Regional with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
