Felipe Ramirez Killed in North Austin Motorcycle Accident on Metric Boulevard

Austin, Texas (September 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on crash Sunday morning in North Austin, according to the police.

The accident took place around 5:16 a.m. September 1, in the 9200 block of Metric Boulevard.

Police said Dionnet Suarez De La Cruz, 34, was driving a 2018 black Toyota Camry southbound in the northbound lanes when he crashed head-on into a northbound 2005 Suzuki motorcycle ridden by 25-year-old Felipe Ramirez.

Ramirez was declared dead at the scene.

De La Cruz was arrested for DWI and intoxication manslaughter.
