76-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Socorro Pedestrian Crash on Alameda

Socorro, Texas (December 6, 2023) – A 76-year-old man was seriously injured Tuesday evening after being struck by a truck in Socorro, according to the police.

The accident happened around 6:00 p.m., December 5, in the 10400 block of Alameda.

Police said the man was crossing the roadway, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound 1998 Dodge Ram.

The man was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
