Gilberto Guerra Arrested after Hit-and-Run Crash That Injured Alan Tienda, Sandra Sanchez in Dallas
Alan Tienda, His Wife Sandra Sanchez Hospitalized after Dallas Crash at East Kiest Boulevard and South Marsalis Avenue
Dallas, Texas (October 22, 2023) – Dallas police have arrested 41-year-old Gilberto Salas Guerra following a hit-and-run crash that left a couple hospitalized last week on Friday night at an intersection in Dallas.
The crash happened shortly before 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, at the intersection of East Kiest Boulevard and South Marsalis Avenue.
Police said Guerra was driving a grey Ford F-150 FX pickup westbound on Kiest Boulevard when he allegedly ran a red light at Marsalis Avenue and T-boned a vehicle occupied by Alan Tienda and his wife, Sandra Sanchez.
Tienda and Sanchez were transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Guerra exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
Guerra was arrested and charged with three counts of a collision involving injury and two counts of collision involving bodily harm.
The crash remains under investigation.
