One Killed and One Injured in Corinth Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35E
Corinth, Texas (April 27, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Sunday afternoon after they were struck by a suspected drunken driver while changing a tire in Corinth, according to police.
The deadly accident occurred around 2:40 p.m., April 25, on Interstate 35E.
Police said two men were changing a flat tire of a truck on the shoulder of the highway when they were struck by a northbound black Ford hatchback.
One of the men was killed in the crash, while the other victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers said the hatchback driver was suspected of being drunk at the time of the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
