1 Killed, 2 Injured in Rollover Crash on Genoa Red Bluff Road in Houston

One Killed and Two Injured in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Genoa Red Bluff Road

Houston, Texas (May 14, 2021) – According to the police, one person was killed, and two others were injured in a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon in Houston.

The fatal crash happened around 4:30 p.m., May 12, in the 2500 block of Genoa Red Bluff Road.

Police said a 19-year-old man was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe westbound when he lost control, struck the median, and crossed into the eastbound lanes. 

The Tahoe then struck a red Ford Mustang and rolled on top of the vehicle, pushing it backward. The Tahoe also struck an eastbound black Mercedes GLS450 and landed upside down on the median.

The Tahoe driver was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Mustang driver, a 61-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The Mercedes driver, a 61-year-old man, was treated and released at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
