1 Killed, 2 Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Simpson Stuart Road in Dallas

One Killed and Two Injured in Dallas Three-Vehicle Crash on Simpson Stuart Road

Dallas, Texas (June 22, 2021) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash Monday morning in Dallas, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 5:10 a.m., June 21, in the 3100 block of Simpson Stuart Road.

 Police said a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle, before rolling down an embankment and clipping some trees.

A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.

The driver of the vehicle that rolled down the embankment was killed in the crash.

Two people in the car that was rear-ended were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive. 

Officers said speed was a factor in the crash.

The crash closed the roadway for some time and it has since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
