One Killed in Potter County Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 87

Potter County, Texas (February 24, 2021) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Potter County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened on U.S. 87.

DPS said a vehicle crashed into a pedestrian, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The accident closed the northbound lanes of U.S. 87 for nearly three hours. The lanes have since been reopened.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
