One Killed in Travis County Two-Vehicle Crash near U.S. Highway 183 and Evelyn Road

Travis County, Texas (September 12, 2023) – One person was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Travis County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened shortly after 4:00 p.m., September 11, near U.S. Highway 183 and Evelyn Road, southeast of Austin.

Authorities said the crash involved an 18-wheeler and a vehicle.

One person was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated. The adult was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
